DevTEd Lite is a freeware text and source code editor for use with Microsoft Windows. It supports tabbed editing, which allows working with multiple open files in a single window and several programming languages. DevTEd Lite is a text editor specially designed for developers. System requirements: MS WIndows 10 or later. It features customizable syntax highlighting, code folding and limited autocompletion for programming, scripting, and markup languages, but not intelligent code completion, finding and replacing strings of text with regular expressions, bracket matching. As of version 1.3, DevTEd Lite can highlight the elements of 75 syntaxes.
DevTEd Lite holds a classic interface, which might be quite familiar to those who are accustomed to text editors. All the standard commands are there, and most menu entries also have their corresponding buttons, for quick access.
Users will be able to find a multitude of features that allow for very custom formatting to be attained. Ranging from simpler, copy operations, all the way up to more complex tasks, such as selections and line duplications.
The software is available in two distinct versions (Lite and Pro).
